The reason you turn into meat after you agree to help the kitten is because the kitten is representative of Amanda. The only way for Amanda to escape the tapes is to bring people into the tapes. That's why everything in Amanda the Adventurer has eyes. All the meat, stores, and shelves are people who have been brought into the tapes by Amanda.

I looked it up and Hameln is actually a real company and the same for the show, and the person who made the show had an adopted daughter who was used as Amanda in the show. The show is very old because it was made in the early 2000s 😮😮
