3:25 It gets worse though...
3:45 Wasn't I supposed to get this for free?

6:58 This studio has a track record of being awful...

Only the single player mode is immune to wipes. Not your main online account. Regardless, announcing more paid DLC, when the game isnt finished.. THEN TELLING PEOPLE WHO BOUGHT EoD FOR "ALL SUBSEQUENT DLCS FOR FREE" they have to pay for singlep layer.... is disgusting and actually ILLEGAL...

I would rather pay 250 dollars to crowdfund a legal action and watch BSG lose

I imagine in a couple of years time, when Escape from Tarkov reaches the milestone of being in early access for 10 fucking years, Battlestate Games will announce the release of the 'Bend Over: Here it comes again' edition. They are terrified of giving a single player gamemode to everyone for one reason. Casual players and people fed up with cheaters will play it exclusively and player counts will plummet on the "normal" PvP side.
  • @BullHorn7
EOD used to have this as part of its description: "Free access to all subsequent DLCs (Season pass)". So that was another Nikita™ lie.

As we in Czech Republic have a saying "S jídlem roste chuť" which means "With each meal grows apetite", thats pretty much enough to be said about these studios with their prices and stoopid DLCs
  • @Puxi
That Unheard Edition is really unheard of.
  • Seeing Incursion and the combination of the title + thumbnail scared the hell out of me for a sec. Like "Damn Incursion's already dead? It hasn't even been that long."

I struggle to sometimes justify a $2 game purchase... who tf is spending $100 on a single player DLC for an game that's pretty much more than 5 years old. :/
  • @dvdtrgg1891
Ain't the DLC lie, false marketing or fraud? In the same way if you go to a store buy three things but only getting 2 of the items.
  • @-NoodleBoy
Why would I pay for SPT when it's free!
  • @HippCelt
    Attempted Copyright strike in 3...2....1...

It's sad how many YT channels I watch are getting hassled by the Tarkov devs over this situation, those are people who genuinely loved Tarkov so much that they purchased the Edge of Darkness version available of the game.
  • @saika4043
gotta say that pricing is truly 'UNHEARD' of..
  • Just one little correction, PVP mode will still be wiped, PVE is being separated from PVP
  • @user-xc9xb4bw8w
I was like "NOOO NOT INCURSION RED RIVER" but I'm so glad that the game is being talked isn't Incursion Red River
  • So that's why they were so aggressive toward the SPT team, they wanted to sell it as a gamemode despite promising it would be free for owners of EoD edition. Not even Ubisoft is this scummy.
  • @mrgaming2582
you made a great video but just one thing. The no wipe thing only affects the single player version. Still scummy how they are selling a single player mode for 250 dollars (plus tax).

There are currently TWO "Escape for Tarkov" esque games that I would strongly recommend people play instead: STALKER Gamma and Zero Sievert. Those are the two BEST Tarkov-esque games out there right now, and I HIGHLY recommend them. I'd also recommend keeping an eye on Marauders' development too, as that game has A TON of potential to be great once it leaves Early Access.
