  • I love how instead of saying punishment, when he stops the dog from doing something it wants to do, he calls it management…. Like um no sir management is stoping the behavior before it happens or arranging the antecedent so the behavior never happens not stopping it when it’s happening
💀 ripping grass outta your dogs mouth is punishment and is a good way to have your dog run away and avoid you or resource guard what they have and fight you
  • That leave-it-look-at-me combo is worth gold; took a while to teach with my young Beagle, but, boy, is it worth it.

My dog Odin watches this channel with me and we get hyped before training ❤ His ears move all around at the tones in this guy’s voice as if he’s a family member. Impressed!
  • @Tagtraum_
I think it would be beneficial to see how this dog is doing now he’s older.
  • @jbunds
Your videos are great! The patience you show is amazing and I like your approach of rewarding the things they do naturally to communicate yes and no. My dog mostly listens and we've been together for almost 4 years now, I've been looking to work on a few issues she has that I kinda gave up on a while back. She is so incredibly smart, you can teach a dog that isn't a puppy!

I started watching your videos the week i got my puppy 2 years ago now.

The fundamentals you have given me, free, through your videos have been priceless. He is perfectly crate trained and toilet trained. Just gotta work on his recall, so this video came at the perfect moment. Thank you so much.
  • Thank you so much for helping us to survive our puppy. She’s an 11-week-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and ALL your videos have been life saving. We subscribed before she arrived home and that allowed us to be a little bit more prepared for her. Keep up the amazing work!!

This seems like Zak's wheelhouse. Teaching puppies new commands
  • @nicktheghost
Thanks Zak!! Every time I’m having an issue with my pup, your videos always point us in the right direction
  • @irinips6301
    Perfect video instructions
Thanks to you my new puppy is learning fast ☺️

if you had any credibility it's all but gone as you keep on with your vicious attacks on Dog Daddy. Cant make your own way so have to put others down.
  • @brujosol
Don't think you'll see this, but I wanted to say that it was cool running into y'all at the Home Depot earlier today! I'm sorry I didn't stop to say anything more than how much I liked your videos, I was running late for something and it looked like y'all were getting ready to check out, so I didn't want to keep you. Once again, thanks for your videos, they have made training my dog so much easier!
  • @leanderdato4764
I'd love to see you working with a deaf dog. teaching them specific signs instead of words
  • @keithm6864
The first Shade video was 8 months ago Zak. You stated in this video that you've only had him for a few days. I was actually looking forward to this series. It would've been a great way for you to showcase your training abilities. But at this rate, we'll have to wait decades to see the fully grown and trained Shade. I bet he's already too big for those barkbox toys. Give us some more updates man.
  • @blackdknght12
Nice to see how to "install" desires behaviours in the beginning and evolving them in gradually increasing environments
  • @Grand-paws
Hey Zach, I'm looking forward to the video of you and Robert discussing and teaching training techniques!!!!!!
  • You make it look so easy. I'm having fun trying to get my sheltie puppy to stop biting.
  • We have started with BarkBox and I think I look forward to its arrival more than the pups. So much fun and wonderful toys! Makes me want to work for them because they must have so much fun designing the toys. Thank you for recommending them!
