I never thought I’d be alive to hear someone say, “it’s a low income neighborhood, the homes average $350k”.

I’ve lived in south Phoenix for 40 years. Raise a large family 5 girls and 3 boys here. Just in the area of your video. All are doing well and successful . It’s not as bad as you say. You just need to hang out with the right people. Like anywhere you go.
  • How can the average person or family afford a $375K home? How can you say affordable?
  • When I was hiking across the state, I ran into the Hopi tribe. Some of the best, friendliest people I have ever met in my sojourn here on earth. Easily one of the most interesting and kind-hearted group of individuals willing to help out a complete stranger a bit lost in life.

I've been in my neighborhood in Glendale for 25 years and I wouldn't live anywhere else. My neighborhood has an 85% homeowner rate with very few rental properties. Our kids play outside and everyone pretty much knows where and who these kids belong to. Our schools take very few variances so our kids develop friends from kinder thru high school and beyond. These are the things (in my opinion) that make my neighborhood in Glendale AZ great
  • Worst place than S. Phx is Maryvale area. Do not walk alone at night on 27th ave and Indian School Rd. Even in daytime.
  • I was born and raised in the south east valley, in the 1960s. I moved to the mid west a decade and a half ago, I can't even recognize it anymore. Thanks for the videos.

South Phoenix here. I live on South Mountain and it's beautiful and peaceful. I'd only get a house south of Baseline. Gotta drive to Tempe and Tukee for anything cool though. 15 minutes from three great city areas.

Phoenix native, born and raised…. It is, and will always be Squaw Peak…
  • I lived in South Tucson from 1977 to 1979 with my family as a teenager. What I saw left an indelible mark in my memory that I will never forget. At no time though did I ever feel I was in any personal danger. But the surroundings were sad and in a strange way, beautiful.

Thank you!! Very helpful as I want to move to get out of so much boredom (and honestly cooler) ... I live in Mohave Valley which does have "some" decent shopping, Laughlin is 30 minutes up however it's isolated from any metro area as is Kingman and Havasu.
  • I love Phoenix 🌵 Glad I moved here from the cold, snowy Midwest! Love your Channel!
  • Why does one HAVE to be entertained? Growing up in a small town in Arizona, we created our OWN entertainment.

$350,000 for a house in a run-down, high crime area in Phoenix is mind-boggling. Winslow surprised me for all the negatives, especially the high crime. I've lived in Tucson and you definitely want to avoid South Tucson. :hand-orange-covering-eyes: I would not want to deal with the bad traffic in or near Phoenix. Surprised Gila Bend did not make the list,:cat-orange-whistling: and I could see Douglas and Nogales on here because of all the crime and border issues. Thanks for the video.
  • These videos are great and very entertaining! Keep making them I enjoy watching them! They are kind of funny too I’d never move here anyways lol
