How to easily fix a faulty sprinkler zone by changing the SOLENOID.
Follow this quick and easy tutorial on how to change a solenoid on your faulty sprinkler valve. I wish I would have known it was this easy :)

What you need for this project:
1. Wire Cutters
2. Wrench (To loosen and tighten solenoid)
3.Wire Nuts
4. Electrical Tape

  • Make sure you understand there are two wires . The common and the active. She talks about it being a ground. There is a difference between a ground and a common.

    My only addition, is that you should have used water resistant wire nuts. Your irrigation components are underground and exposed to water.
