Great job Robert and Dan of letting Joy tell her family's history. Joy, you honor your family so well.
  • Wonderful job that she has done. It’s great to see the younger generation so interested in family history.
  • Oh my gosh this video is amazing. I got goosebumps. I can't say enough about this family and their dedication for the ancestors. They put all of money into this cemetery and I thank you

Great video Robert!! Thankyou Joy and Dan for allowing us to visit this cemetery. A beautifully well kept place that is full of very interesting history. The people who rest there will certainly be at Rest In Peace. God bless you all.
  • Congratulations on fixing up the cemetery. You should be so proud!!

WOW! Kudos to this young LADY for caring & having the resources, doing all the hard work to document her family cemetery. May many blessings flow to her from our Heavenly Father.

Well done Joy! Our family has always spent a great deal of time in our family cemetery, even as small children. We help care for it also. Much respect to you and your efforts. I bet your ancestors would be so proud of you!
  • Absolutely beautiful cemetery & family history. It’s such a treasure that the property is in the family’s hands after 180+ years. Thank you for putting this video together & sharing it with us.

LOVED this video! So interesting and hope we get to see her families old home place up close.
  • Great work!! I'm the 4th great-grandchild of one of the first families who came from Scotland in the early 1800s and I have ancestors buried on original land close by. All they have are cement markers with handwritten names and dates. Her hard work has given me the inspiration to honor my family the same way. Bless you!!

I could listen to Dan all day long.

It is amazing! It takes a lot of love and dedication to take care of a family cemetery. It is the best way to reach back in time in gratitude of who you are. A beautiful job! The monument makes me feel like they know she cares and they are happy and not so sad being lost to time, like so many you have visited - (just how I think). Interesting details, burial techniques and the divining rod, which I had never heard of. Great! 👍👍❣️❣️

I’m also blown away! Good for her and bless her! She has now left a legacy for many generations to come in her family and descendants.
  • Joy has done a great job in keeping the history going plus the old home. The cemetery will keep all her love ones resting in peace.
