These are some of the smartest videos I’ve seen. I’m absolutely alarmed this doesn’t have over 1K views. That was probably what hit me that hardest,

I heard Kurt Cobain talk about this very thing in an interview. He said that after getting rich going to convenience store just wasn't fun for him anymore and he missed the times when it was.

Don't drive anywhere, don't watch TV, don't buy anything, don't strive for success, don't ever do anything remotely painful, just walk on grass, and listen to slow piano music on YouTube, and speak in affirmations. This is the way.

We mostly think that our desires and our wants, come from our own. But the reality is that we are indeed highly influenced by the media and top celebrities. The way we are being manipulated, is not that obvious, though. We unconsciously absorb the culture around us, and after a while, we even feel like as if we came up with it. As in we actually believe that we chose to desire what we desire. Most of our wants come from manufactured propaganda that doesn't actually want us to become happy individuals, instead, what it truly wants, is for us to become active members of a socio-economic game that only benefits the system itself. What it wants from us is to desire more and to spend more, so that there is more economic consumption and production at large. We are unconsciously being groomed to become big spenders, not happy people. And even when it becomes very obvious once you see it, a problem arises once you actually try to convey these ideas to other people. I've had full on arguments just by even making the suggestion that more money may not actually mean more happy. That fancier cars, expensive brands and more luxurious homes, may actually be, a manufactured desire created by media to keep an economic system going, is an idea that not many people are ready to hear. We should all definitely listen, though. To see past materialistic illusion is going to prove a valuable skill that will help us greatly in the search of balance in our lives. On a side note, awesome video! I'm so very glad I just found this channel. Beautiful speaking voice, very engaging and thought provoking. I think you are spreading very insightful ideas that we, as a humanity, desperately need to hear and would benefit a lot from actually listening. Thank you for sharing, I'm already a fan. May light shine bright your way!
  • I’d like to apologize please. I watched again and I was wrong. I’m sorry. It is only 60 seconds.
