Fun fact: Al got so addicted to rocky road ice cream while filming this video, that the AWw's were actual screams of pain from all the brain freeze he received while shoveling rocky road into his tummy. He later went to rehab where he received help for his addition from two young go-getters Ben & Jerry.

My mom was actually at the bar that fateful night when Al first performed this song. She told me that the moment he pulled out that accordion, she knew he was something special. I like to imagine the woman threatening the bartender in Al's biopic was based off of her. RIP Al, you may be gone but you're never forgotten.

I just stumbled across one of you songs after all these years. You probably won't ever see this, but you got me through a really bad time in my younger life. You taught me humor... I listened to this tape so many times I had to buy it again. Thank you Al! One of these times life will finally allow me to see you in concert. I'm hoping I can make your concert on the 23rd of June.
