I'm guessing people having been thinking about what happened to all the sheikah tech in totk, (I have been too) and so this video I made before the game came out originally didn't do well, but now probably because of that it gained more traction. So if I say anything in this video that is wildly inaccurate to what actually happens in tears of the kingdom, just keep that in mind xD

Awesome video! Personally I’d love to see the sheikah make a return in totk! But the zonai is definitely the focus of totk wich means the Sheikah won’t play as big of a role as they did in the first game. And I’m fine with that.

The Zonai Eye Symbol is the sheikah eye without the Tear, which probably means that the zonai are the ancient ancient sheikah. Something tragic must have happened to make it an eye with a tear, and with the title being "TEARS of the Kingdom", its definitely a major part of the game. MAYBE this hints towards time travel in some form?
