Wild Camping On A Rock With A View

Decided to finish work on Friday and go through Sheffield to the Peak District National Park and spend the night wild camping. Ended up going near to Carl Wark iron age fort. As the weather was pretty decent, I decided to sleep under the stars. Yes I had a tent to pitch, but why use it when little to no sign of rain forthcoming. A little wind and that is all! I found a large rock, admittedly sloping to a 50ft drop and more if I bounce of that onto the steeper slope. But nothing is perfect in life. Also this was a rock with a view towards Carl Wark iron age hill fort. What could be better! Thankyou for watching, please like and subscribe.

Hi Steve, Great video, I really hope your mum improves, love your acceptance that the outside is for everyone, a lot of people forget that, it’s not ours anymore than theirs. You are braver than me camping on rock, I was cool enough on my last camp in my DCF tent 😂 Everything you said about the news and getting away from people was absolutely spot on, keep getting out there pal 👏👏👍

That was another great video Steve. It was great to see you out and with a minimalistic approach to the camp. It shows that you don't need £1000 quid Hilleberg's to get outdoors and enjoy yourself, and it will also encourage people who want to try wild camping but who may be put off at the cost when they see others people's videos which feature expensive kit.👍
