The saddest part about Risk of Rains lore is that Mithrix would never get closure. He spent a very long time locked up on the moon, angry for what his brother had done. He spend so long trying to reach him, but he would never know that his brother was dead all along

No matter how much Mithrix hates Providence, i still think deep down that he could have forgiven him, judging by how he calls out for Providence to help him when he dies.

The fact that Mithrix is that powerful when in fact he's just a shirtless mech in his garage with a oversized tool is scary.

Holy shit, this is really good. The faded Once In A Lullaby in the latter half, the way the camera pans down through the bridge of the Contact Light to reveal Providence's corpse, the voice, the imagery as a whole... And the part that hurts the most is seeing that frame of Mithrix chiseling a statue of his brother.

Perfect voiceover. I love that the description for Predatory Instincts confirms that the survivor who killed Providence did in fact have 10 Lens-Maker's lol.

I was expecting the player to show up with no items and 60 odd something blue orbs surrounding them as a joke twist, I wasn't expecting actual deep shit

The story of Mythrix and Providence is honestly so amazing for being hidden behind item descriptions. I love how there's a story to piece together. I read the one about how Mythrix got trapped as my last one, and seeing him being so happy because he could finally free his brother and him, while Providence is sad because he knows what's really going to happen, it's just immaculate

Saw this comic on reddit, didn't think someone would voice act it, so well too. I like how you made Mithrix sound more sad than angry,adds some more tragedy to their relationship,when two could perhaps live together happily,if one wasn't so selfish.

Perhaps Providence was defeated because he lacked the unbound power of cold, precise design. Perhaps Mithrix was defeated because he was driven mad (and weakened) from a lack of soul & love after being alone for so long. Ironically, in their time of need, both brothers needed the other.
