What 2000 Hours of Battlefield 1 looks like...

When I look back the Battlefield 1 that I binge playing for at least two years, I start to realize the maps are the key point that amuse me the most. Battlefield 1's maps are just gorgeous, and very fun to play. They must been put so many thoughts on the design. They created a masterpiece. The latest Battelefiled 2042's failue is mainly because the stupid maps they put out. Just so obvious that they haven't put enough effort in the maps.

This is my favorite Battlefield! During this era I didn’t go back into COD until a few years later.

Operations/Breakthrough, in my opinion, are the most Battlefield experience possible. 1-3 objectives that everyone is forced to play around creates a fun sandbox environment.

The SFX when you get a kill is one of the most addictive sounds ever

This game needs not only a revival, but it needs to be immortalized as peak multiplayer gaming. Yeah the mortars are extremely annoying, and I feel like I can rarely do good, but that's just because the other people are popping off. When it's your turn to, OH BOY is that amazing. I still remember the time I revived at least 50 people back to back as a medic and we held the final point on the French map with the gas and fire on it, that was truly amazing.

I've returned back to BF1 since June 2022 and it's been the best fun I've had with a game since the last time I regularly played BF1. It's unrivaled and it's aged so very well. Lately, there are more lobbies for Conquest and TDM so I think it's experiencing a revival. Dice needs to stop treating this classic like "staleware" and start developing a new map pack. There's nothing altogether wrong with following the bleeding-edge of new games releases but there is something wrong with letting new-game fetish and marketing/hype cloud your appreciation for the great already-released games that aren't just viable, their enjoyability demands that they be played!

I think it's crazy how bf manages to convey the feeling of a real war, you're focused on the gameplay and you don't even notice the multiple explosions and bursts passing close to your ear caused by other players

this is incredible. I've been playing battlefield pretty much since it came out and there is no way I come anywhere close to this skill level

Incredible. Usually, my team sucks so bad I'm always getting flanked trying to do this, plus the enemy conceals themselves far better.
