Premier Doug Ford announces his government is investing nearly $17 million to train workers in northern Ontario for careers in mining, construction, energy and forestry.

He is joined at the news conference in Thunder Bay by David Piccini (Ontario labour minister), George Pirie (Ontario mines minister), Ken Boschcoff (mayor of Thunder Bay), Adam McGillivray (business manager of Ironworkers Local 759), Ashley Larose (CEO of Science North), and Kevin Holland (MPP for Thunder Bay–Atikokan).
