  • I was not going watch this it not my thing, but you know, I enjoyed watching it just to see how much goes in to the workings of this beautiful train
  • Over a period of years i was regularly invited to delve in the palitoy mainline scrap bin. Amazing how many good locos you could make by 'cross kit-ing' components from several locos to make some first rate engines, some usable locos, some spare parts and some genuine scrap.

  • Hi Dan. I'm not a fan of the Royal Scots or Patriots, but I'm certainly a fan of your repair of a split chassis loco. Great to see another saved from the scapyard. Next up: the Big 100!

    Got my first Mainline locomotive back in 1980 rebuilt Patriot bought it with overtime money , still got a couple of locomotives but don't use them anymore .
  • Where was the worm wheel exactly Dan and what is a cog ? Having worked half my working life in gearing I'm offended ! 🙄🤣

    I going to be honest I 've got a lot of mainline rolling stock and have bought a lot of it just lately as it's pretty dam good.
