► About The Game...
• Change lives
Every Sim, every car, every building has a purpose in SimCity. New data layer technology provides easy-to-read information, giving you the power to make choices that will shape your city and change the lives of the Sims within it.

• Specialize Your City
Choose your strategy then specialize your city. If you desire more Sims in your region, build a casino resort and watch as your city becomes a major tourist attraction. If your city has large coal deposits, specialize in power and fuel the cities in your region.

• Model-Like World
Poke, prod, tinker, and destroy a visually engaging world unlike anything you’ve ever seen! Unleash your creativity and design your city with new zoning and design tools. Customize buildings to reveal additional functionality and unlock gameplay benefits.

• Incredibly Deep Simulation
Every Sim, every car, every building has a purpose in SimCity. New data layer technology provides easy-to-read information, giving you the power to make choices that will shape your city and change the lives of the Sims within it.

• Control Multiple Cities
With Multi-city play you can interact and influence an entire region of cities - alone or with friends! Cities can share services and resources, working together to build Great Works projects benefiting all cities in the region.

• The crowd roars
Each Sim that comes to live in your town is a unique individual, and they're quick to let you know how they feel. Let things lapse, and you may ignite a storm of protest. It's not easy being mayor, but getting it right can be very rewarding.

• Design your city
Poke, prod, tinker, and destroy a visually engaging world unlike anything you’ve ever seen. Unleash your creativity and design your city with new zoning and design tools. Customize buildings to reveal additional functionality and unlock gameplay benefits.

• Welcome to the GlassBox
GlassBox is the revolutionary new technology that makes SimCity the lively metropolis it is. All the elements — Sims, buildings, and roads — are dependent upon each other, and a change to one changes it all, just like the real world.

• You’re not alone
Your little social experiment is open to the world. Real, live players can move in and build right next to you. Your cities influence each other, and whether that's helpful or harmful depends on how well you play together.

• Control multiple cities
With Multi-city play, you can interact and influence an entire region of cities, alone or with friends. Cities can share services and resources, working together to build Great Works projects that benefit all cities in the region.

Man I forgot how little space you get to work with in this game. I liked the silly stuff that got added with superheroes and cyberpunk-esque styled buildings, but man that is such a small amount of land. Granted there are the other squares you could use as well, but I am way too used to cities skylines, particularly that mod that just gives all 25 squares to use

One thing I love about SimCity 2013 is the challenging aspect. Yes it has a small map, but it pushes you to play the game and figure out how to get more money and people. I think that is a gameplay here.
  • I've got a great idea. Instead of having dumps in all your cites, make one of them the dedicated garbage place.
  • Hey, conflictnerd, I love this game and I love seeing you play this game. One thing that I think would help you is placing down a low wealth residential mega tower, they are really good at giving higher land value, and really good at packing and thousands of people into a small area. Once again I love this game and love you playing it so feel free to keep on doing it your own way!

Making Processors is quite interesting in that game But you'd need each storage space for all the different materials which I think you lack space on the map there. You should put a storage for ore as well, maybe export I think, because you are mining a lot now not sure how much OmegaCo takes.
  • @GameThunderYT
Nah, the accents u make for the AI's is funny man like i just can't LMAO
  • @maowzart1
To make better land value you need to put parks to boost the residential & commercial.
  • @mrXOwarrior
Isn't getting into OmegaCo a death loop? Is there a way to keep going when you use up on the resources?
  • @siimp718
So cool you are doing sim city again. I love that game. Even tho the map is tiny. Please continue
  • @ShannaNL
If they weren't so forced to multiplayer and would have had a normal map as they did before, city skylines with it's odd placement wouldn't have existed anymore. Maxis has the better play, always has. But those damn idiotic small maps were the gamekiller.
  • @lonevamp69
You have low wealth in areas, you could throw a normal church or another "house of worship" near those areas to get then going... keep up the great vids Dylan! 👍🏻
  • All hail OmegaCo! Love your videos and this game. Keep it up bud.
  • @Mike_Plays
The accent work in this episode... chef's kiss!
  • @RAI-1911

  • @Dogality-Edits
yo do u know hot to get mods been trying for ages to find vids that tell you
  • @star_man
36:03 You have a population of 13,535. You plop down a library over some low density housing, affecting practically nothing and you population plummets to 11,996... how does that work?
  • @JC_Cali
I feel as if mixed-use zoning would solve so much of the problems - especially with limited city size. If only EA didn't try to make as SIMple as game as possible.

Could make this a true dystopia. Across the river is where all the rich live and powerful live. A small piece of paradise that the weak and poor cannot afford.
