I agree about a 7 inch boot. I think for many applications that is an ideal height. I really like the design of these boots. The Munson last is also a winner, IMO. Will be following this for sure.

Those relief cuts are something Whites does on some their more affordable goodyear welted boots. I don't own own a pair with them but that's a small detail I've noticed. Danner also does that on many of their boots and the pair I own have them and there is zero bite at that spot. It is such a small detail but I think it's a tangible game changer.
  • Everything that was listed in this video as a problem is exactly why I like the PNW boots, specifically Nicks.

TAKE MY MONEY! I was just thinking I need a new 8” and would love to support you guys. I know you’re out to make money but I think overall you’ve really helped bring transparency and education to the boot community.

Excellent! I have not pulled the trigger PNW boot because I knew even broken in ( nightmare LOL) not for me ( very high instep , need arch support 13 e/ee depends), now this is the boot I'd take a chance on with my hard earned cash. Please keep going forward with this, "if you make them they will come" !!

I love the eyelet/hook configuration! My white sawyers gave me insane "white bite" but they are so supportive and their double E width is the most true I've worn..(so far) I would be interested in a pair of those PPNW boots!! You guys have done a great job, I hope JK takes you up on the offer
  • @kd5byb
Would be so stoked to have JK make these - ESPECIALLY if they would make it in their bison leather. That leather is AMAZING.
  • This boot looks amazing! Industrial designer here who's been following you for 3 years, I'm so glad to see how you put all that you've learned into a beautiful and functional design. I'd totally buy these if you make them. Please keep these ideas coming, I see you getting bigger and bigger and I love watching your journey!
  • @gaj5701
Congratulations on making a truly amazing boot after all these years of teardowns!
  • @ManBearPig781
Love the boots. Exactly what I need for my upcoming bear hunt!
  • @Equinox4O7
These look gorgeous! I would love a pair of these in black. Im definitely placing an order when these become available.
  • @caguas97
I would buy it. If you make a limited edition, do it in Bison leather.

I currently have my first pair of Nick's coming, in large part thanks to you guys. A year or two years from now, when there are custom Rose Anvil boots being produced at scale, when I can build myself a pair feature by feature.... best believe my Nick's will have themselves some company on the shoe shelf. Love ya, Rose Anvil.
  • @VTheGonk
wow! Genuinely excited for this boot! Would love to see a follow up on this boot with miles on it.
  • You should do the last lacing hole another speed hook. then when you switch to box lacing, you can just move the knot one step up without untying it. Basically you move the not from your ankle to the top of the boot
