I watched this video 10 times before painting my room. My wife LOVED the job I did. Thanks so much.

I’m actually a 13 year old who is planning to start a painting business in a few years! Your videos are very helpful considering I’m trying to learn the basics now before I take an education on it or get more advanced. Thank you 🙏

THANK YOU. I decided to repaint my entire (new/first) house recently. I’d never even painted a single wall before and I’m 39. I’m about 1/4 of the way done with my massive project. Wanted to make sure ya knew just how damn helpful (all of) your videos are. Thanks!!
  • @sandsband
I'm not even painting anything and watched this whole video. So relaxing and informative
  • I'm a retired painting contractor with 50 years experience. You without a doubt give the best painting tips on YouTube. Haven't seen one yet that I disagree with ...... although I might have put tape over the top of the baseboard to avoid those pesky little dots coming off the roller when the wall is a darker color. ;-)

Thanks to you, I have just about completed my first bedroom. I'm 70 never used a paint roller or sanded walls. We have a 120 yo home. The ceiling has not been touched by us , 35 year owners. Due to health problems, I got a painter in to do this. I used a sealer on the woodwork and it looks awesome. No paint on the carpet either! So this year, I've conquered the roller, sprayer, and caulking. Thanks to you. I'm so pleased I could be bothered to try. I've also sanded french doors stained and varnished, reglazed them and hung them back up again with new hardware Inc hinges. I'm on a roll!

I want to paint a bedroom for first time and I watched painting for beginners and it amazed me on different things that painters that painted my house did not do the things I watched you do. Now I need to get started.
  • @IBZChicken
I've painted my whole house like a pro and it's all thanks to you. You taught me everything worth knowing when it comes to painting like a pro. When people ask how I knew what I was doing, I say uncle Jeff taught me! 😅
  • @onenikkione
Have a bucket with warm water and rag nearby to instantly wipe any small error. After sanding, run your dry hand across the wall, if there is dust from sanding wipe the walls clean. Use a mildly sticky roller on your paint roller to remove loose fibers before using it to paint @ 15:49 he removes some fibers from the wall. Before you start cutting in with the brush, load up your roller and leave it in the paint tray (not in the paint area) and place the tray in a 13-gallon garbage bag (so it doesn't start to dry out), this preps the roller & gives time for the paint to soak in.
  • I know this is two years old, but this video saved my life with one sentence: "None of this W rubbish" . I was getting so anxious about starting to paint my house myself because everyone i spoke to said I need to paint in a W or M!! ❤❤❤

This DIY tutorial on painting a room is an absolute must-watch for beginners. It has a clear instructions, from choosing the right paint and tools to mastering the techniques, turned what I thought was a complex project into a straightforward, satisfying DIY endeavor. I couldn't be happier with the results.
  • @carls1600
I've painted my entire house (walls, ceiling) and your videos were what gave me the confidence to do it! Not to mention learning that DIY stuff doesn't have to be this daunting, weird thing. Appreciate your content!

This is a lifesaver for someone like me who had never painted before. The step-by-step instructions were incredibly clear and made the process feel manageable even for a novice. I'm now confident I can tackle my painting projects with ease, all thanks to this helpful tutorial.
  • @chronesrt2925
I love the fact that you expressed your hate for tape right away. Most people dont even know how tape works anyway and they let it bleed through. Great Video bossman.
  • @queentome40
My husband and I watched this videos before painting the whole downstairs of our home with 20 ft ceilings we brought all products recommended. Our home look as if it was painted by professionals!!!! Our cut work is spectacular. I promise you if you do everything as explained you’ll never need a professional to paint your home again. THE CUT WORK ❤️‍🔥😍🥰 You saved us about $1800 which is the cheapest estimate we got from contractors. THANKS!!!
  • @amtran8454
Holy mackerel! Wife and I painted our living room and hallway recently and just about everything you said NOT to do, we did 😂. We’re doing the kitchen next and we will do it right this time. Thanks!
