this is like a stand up jetski but with extra steps. But cool project none the less and def full of sentimental value. congrats!

Awesome build dude! It would be really cool to get rid of the handle bars and have tilt steering, just like a surf board. Hand control throttle would be easy but you may need an electric servo motor to change the steering.

Theres a shop in Pismo that has two motorized surf boards hanging on the wall from the 60's I think, they have single cylinder two stroke engines inside of them..
