Bio: In case anyone is curious, the star of this video is Dr. Torsten Küneth of the Equipment Committee of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF). He was, amongst various things, pivotal in authoring the specifications and test procedures for non-celluloid table tennis balls and coordinating the ITTF approval process for them. He is a mathematician by academic background and writes crime fiction in his spare time. True story.
