Mark Kelly has very respectable credentials, but I think he would be more useful serving out his full term as Senator from Arizona until 2028 or offered a Cabinet post in the Harris Administration. My choice for Kamala Harris' Vice President is split between Pete Buttigieg and Josh Shapiro. Pete Buttigieg is my first choice because he participated in the 2020 Democratic Party Presidential Primaries, he has experience working within the Executive Branch as a Cabinet member, and he would not have to give up any Governor or Senator seat in the battleground states. Josh Shapiro is also an acceptable choice for me as he shares some of the same qualities as Pete Buttigieg but with potentially greater appeal among voters of the Rust Belt.
