Again. Diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver 2 years ago. Been on carnivore for a year. Just had my bloodwork done to include cholesterol panels. All are normal! Doctors are asking what I’m doing. lol.

All i know is my labs are getting better and better each time! Nobody can convince me eating grains and veggies is better for me now!
  • Diagnosed with fatty liver and fibromyalgia. It led to Ibs. They put me in low fodmap, they put me on aip, nothing worked. I put myself on keto, now ketovore, and guess what? Everything is getting better.
  • @HoosierCarnivore
I've been carnivore for just over a year and will be getting my labs done soon and expecting great things. Lost 60 pounds and reversed type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure! Just ate 10 farm fresh eggs fried in butter and feeling fantastic!
  • I tested in March. Total cholesterol was 472. Glucose, 95. Triglycerides, 85. HDL, 48. 2 years ago, CAC score was 32. I'm 71 years old and generally work out 5 days a week. I've eaten carnivore for almost 6 years. I feel great.

Just anecdotally here, I've had higher cholestero levels than Dr Berry's for most of my life, yet now in my 70s my Calcium score was 1.

I'm a newbie a carnivore... can't wait to see how my kidney numbers are at day 90. I'm only at stage 2, but have several family members with kidney disease. They are petrified about me doing this kind of eating. I'm praying for good results, getting off of HBP meds and curing my fibro and arthritis! Thanks for sharing your labs.

I've been on carnivore for 2 months now. My story... I'm a 5'3" short guy. I was 230 lbs. last year. I was on 2 medications to control HBP & a statin. I began exercising & making better food choices. I got stuck around 175 lbs. Started carnivore and now down to 155. I'm off all meds & feeling great aside from impingement in my R shoulder. I still take a multivitamin & iodine drops though. I do need to get labs & physical done, which I do annually. It will be interesting to see how they go. I'm glad I stumbled onto your channel.

I'm shocked that my A1c is lower than either of yours! Type 2 since 2000, now off all meds and insulin completely for overv5 years. A1c 4.8. Definitely PHD, very close to carnivore. Feeling proud.🙂

Dr. Berry, Thank you for your authenticity and transparency in sharing your lab results. Your integrity is impeccable! Thanks again!
  • 4 weeks into carnivore I had labwork done. My Dr was super happy with my improvement in most areas! This is week 6 and looking forward to new labwork in 10 weeks!

  • @LowCarbforAll
I don't understand my labs and mine are not details like yours Dr. Berry. But I feel good and no longer diabetic also no longer morbidly obese. Thank you for the proper diet for humans!
  • @sueeason275
I would never underestimate the value of fat and red meat…but …I take a long list of vitamin supplicates. Every day ..my blood tests are always perfect except for cholesterol ..like you , I’m not concerned about it …I’m eighty one and limber as a child ..moving a lot is necessary .. …Recently , I was diagnosed with cervix cancer …was tempted to do nothing, ..I’ve asked God to heal me and I’m believing for that , ..however I may take radiation , if they keep it as low as possible ..going to city of hope cancer center tomorrow and must make a decision…prayers will be appreciated .
  • @BillyBoy66
CAC score will tell the tale. Mine sure did.... 35 years of smoking (quit 4 yrs ago), 57 years of the standard American diet, too much alcohol, and a sedentary lifestyle for the last 10 years.... Received CAC score of 610 a month ago. Been ketovore for 7 months. Go this week for a CT angiogram to look for blockages.
  • I'm a long time Type 2 Diabetic 76 years old. I started a Keto diet around the end of March. My 30 day avg. glucose has dropped from over 130 down to 115, and seems it is still dropping. I have a semiannual physical and bloodwork due in 30 days. My question is: How does one know when they can be weaned off their medication? I'm currently on Metformin 1000mg twice daily and Alogliptin 12.5mg once daily. I get health care from the VA, and I know NOW since watching you, Dr. Cywes, and others that The VA has GROSSLY mismanaged my care regarding my Type 2 diabetes. I plan to get some basic lab tests before I go for VA labs in late June because I know my doctor won't order what I really need according to you and many other Docs here. THANK you and you wife for maybe saving, or at least extending my life....Pete
