This plot is better than most modern shows, and no, I’m serious. It feels like Don’t Hug are I’m Scared, and I love it. This show idea is amazing, and I am so glad this video exists. The pure emotion shown in the characters is amazing, and you can feel for them near the end. Blue’s disappear as he knows the truth, and all this friend are dead. He has spent years with them. Apart from Yellow, they were all he knew. And know he knows he was an idiot the whole time, never seeing a box right in front of him. And purple was locked in the vents, only being insulted and offended. Nobody cared about him. And the gang coming back as unsettling, disturbing versions. They finally came to get revenge, to win back their home. They all were killed in cold blood, and now they get to stare their murdered in the eyes and show him the pain they had to go through. Yellow was taken away, realising this is how it felt to be ripped away from all you ever knew. Your audience, who you preformed for all your time their, laugh and cheer as you die. You thought you were the voice of reason who everyone agreed with, but in reality nobody liked you. And that’s how Yellow felt. And now that he is gone, they cheer is they know they are at peace again. They are free from the pain.

Now, I realize that I am painfully late to this, but even so, I still want to share my thoughts on this: This was wonderful to watch, and I’m glad I took the opportunity to check this out. This was so well done in all aspects, and that’s coming from someone avidly studying film currently 😉 I can tell that a lot of time and consideration went into this, and kudos to you guys for actually taking the effort to look into Rainbow Friends and get to know some more of the personal details (Green is blind, Orange is hungry, etc.). You certainly didn’t have to, and fans of the game would have eaten it up like other…less well done content (to say the least)…but I’m glad you guys have an actual interest in the game, rather than throwing out some random popular content that you couldn’t care less about simply for likes and views. I appreciate that as a consumer. Genuine content can be hard to come by. To tell you the truth, I was not expecting a horror film. I didn’t read the title before I watched this Lol. However, I was pleasantly surprised that this turned out to be one. That was actually a really nice plot twist. Also, the lighting was chef’s kiss excellent, and I loved how it corresponded to the ever-changing mood of the film (and even when it didn’t, such as when Yellow was getting frustrated but the lighting was still happy and bright, which brought a sense of unease to the moment). I thought it was hilariously ironic that the Rainbow Friends were the ones being hunted down rather than the usual vice versa. It gave Blue more humanity to see him scared and confused rather than just a monster, and gave the film more anticipation because if Blue’s scared then we’re all screwed Lol. Honestly, the film felt so emotional and genuine, and I was actually surprised that it was. It didn’t try to be anything more than it was. It didn’t beg for likes and love and support because it featured relevant/popular content. It was just good. And it really felt like you guys cared about making it. Leading off of that, the film had briefly touched on that theme, and I thought it was rather fitting considering Rainbow Friends and such. The game itself is rather simple and there’s not a lot of lore in canon. It’s directed towards children and teenagers, and it’s excellent commercial content due to its popularity. The utter vast majority of content surrounding popular games and such are either a) poorly made/considered (because how are kids supposed to tell what’s decent content or not), or b) it’s dumbed down/heavily advertised for young children, and to the point where there’s no emotional or moral appeal whatsoever. When Yellow said, “I want something real; something genuine. Our audiences have all grown up and yet we haven’t” is such a deep statement that could be applied to a lot of content produced nowadays. A lot of large companies have just become so cold and callous and money-hungry in the last while and it’s really nice to have some good content handed to us by regular people who actually enjoy what they’re doing. I have no idea if that’s what you guys meant when you covered that theme, but nonetheless, it struck home for me. In conclusion, I think this is the best short film you guys have created so far, and one of my personal favorites on YT. Legit, this is so well done in my eyes 😃, especially for 7 crew members in total! I wish you guys the best of luck in the future, and that you have an excellent rest of your day. Cheers 😎

i've never seen rainbow friends or f.r.i.e.n.d.s, but this will forever be what rainbow friends is to me & my heart, and no one will convince me other wise also, i calculated how long they've been doing this show (1 episode = 1 week), apparently they've been doing this for 2.76 years, that really is quite a long time
