Here are my thoughts on this: You did an absolutely wonderful job with making me feel intrigued about the mystery that is going on! It makes me want to know more about The Neighbor and his strange behavior. The amount of ravens in this place and how they all appeared when Nicki entered the room that had the word "curse" made me curious to discover what caused this phenomenon. The setting is gorgeous and it had the perfect opening while showing off this town. The lightning hitting the ribbon stating that this was Raven Brooks not only told us what the place is, but also showed us the chaotic nature in this show that is about to ensue. I also love the shot where it's zooming into the neighborhood as Nicki is speaking. It gives us a wonderful view of the place this episode is set. If you look at the background of every shot, you can see a lot of effort has been put into the setting of this series, which is something I really appreciate! The atmosphere is incredible and this episode leaves me on the edge of my seat, intrigued to see more! I really only have one gripe with this, however. I feel like the episode did not spend enough time helping us get to know the main cast. This made tense moments where The Neighbor almost catches them not hit as hard as they were seemingly intended to. However, I could see why this was done since it's hard to shove a bunch of character moments into a 22 minute episode, let alone a 5 minute clip. But maybe try showing them spending time together without this mystery in the way, showing their dynamic as a friend group and how their personalities interact with each other. Even if it is shown for 1 or 2 minutes. Other than that, this pilot is incredible and I would love to see this go on to be a full series! The atmosphere and mystery behind it are awesome and if we were to get more connected to our main cast, this will be an excellent, intense show! Marvelous work, y'all!

Me tryna figure out how stupid kids can be and sneak inside a strangers house with a shovel in their car regularly Edit: Me also tryna figure out how they call this a TV Show if it only airs on YouTube and not on a TV Channel YT Series, not TV Show

So did MatPat ever enjoy analyzing this bit-by-bit 👀
  • 0:48 "I know how dangerous this guy is. Whatever he's hiding,it's bad enough that he had to kidnap his own kids." If they were his kids,it wouldn't be considered kidnapping.
  • @mikomiku7735
I literally just realized those other kids we never see in hello neighbor are from the game secret neighbor!
  • This is amazing. I never thought this would be a real thing A hello neighbor animated series, I've been dreaming about this my entire years ever since I used to love hello neighbor and secret neighbor true story, I used to dream that this would be a real series coming soon and this is it. thank you tinyBuildGAMES

At 0:05 the neighborhood looks like a “build your own town” game
  • @megadrian6927
“I hate to sound all Team, Captiany here.” Wait, but you’re the Leader in Secret Neighbor.
  • @Doubl_Troubl
I feel the kids are the real villains getting into this guy’s privacy
  • @zippernoir5132
Is it bad that I just realised the neighborhood is called "Raven Brooks" cause of the Ravens?

This show had some potential. The thing about it is Hello Neighbor is a HORROR game. This seems way too cartoony to be a show from a horror game. This is also obviously based off the books but if your first episode starts with the whole gang trying to search through the neighbor's house, the audience (who haven't read the books) won't know what's going on. You should start with a few episodes with Aaron or with Nicholas explaining how he got there and what's happening or you could explain that in a separate episode. This show is also really fast paced, try to slow it down a bit, you've got 11 or 22 minutes to tell a compelling story. Use that to your advantage, don't try to squish everything into one episode. This show does have it's problems but it has POTENTIAL, and lots of it! I highly anticipate this and will watch all of it! Keep working hard tinyBuild!

I feel like everyone doesn't know that all the characters are from secret neighbor, besides the main character featuring brave, leader, and detective.

Nikki, listen, Maya was killed by Aaron when he pushed her off the roof for reasons unknown. Mrs. Peterson died in a car accident. Aaron is the one that is missing.
