Thanks for the inspo Alyssa! For those of us not lucky enough to have the gorgeous legs you do, do you have some ideas on how to make bermuda shorts more stylish and chic for summer? Would REALLY appreciate the help on this one. Those denim shorts on you...just awesome! 💜

Oh Alyssa - only you would put together denim cut-off shorts and stiletto's. Love it. Right, I'm off to my wardrobe to dig out my denim shorts and navy high heels - it's guaranteed to make my husband smile when he comes home from work and sees me cooking dinner in THAT little outfit. :) But at 56 years of age, there is no way I will be wearing it out in public Ha Ha ! I would have done in my teens and 20's though. My favourite item is your tobacco coloured shorts as you have shown them to be so versatile - preppy safari with the loafers, then Italian va va voom with your tassled heels. You could even wear them in winter with your loafers and thick tights.

I was doing this yesterday, planning a two-day work trip wardrobe for two days in June in Arizona, where it's 104F by about that time. Haven't flown since 1996. This should be fun. I bought: fancy elevated black linen shorts that are almost knee-length; white linen blazer; a couple of linen tank tops, navy and black; flax-colored linen trousers, and a few other things. Topped it off with a white canvas wide-brimmed hat.

Really love that you use the same pieces of your wardrobe to really show that we don't need to buy, buy!!! note: even with different shoes, the cut off jeans always look "juvenile" to me

Love all your looks!❤ I really appreciate your shoe commentaries. It’s amazing how shoes can really transform the vibe and be the cherry on top of the outfit! In winter, it’s easier to be lax when my pants come down and hide over 90% of my shoes.

Love the slip skirt with the tank top. Very hard to find slip skirts that aren’t crazy loud. But find your skirt very classic even with the cow print. Love it!

TBH I love spring/summer clothes and love dressing for those seasons for the exact reason there isn’t layering. I get excited pulling out my button ups, dresses and shorts. Open collars with necklaces, etc. Just sad the weather in my part of the world isn’t cooperating right now.
