Carnival Ride Starts to Lose Control

Dude, that first guy to try and hold the ride down is a hero. If he didn't show initiative, I doubt anyone else would have acted.

Imaging being on a ride swinging violently and then feeling it fall back and then seeing 50 people run up and try to hold it down. I'm sure none of those people will go back to a carnival again.

Respect to all the people who risked themselves to save the people on that ride. Extra respect to the man who decided to act out first.

The crowd saving the ride, using their OWN BODY WEIGHT AS BALLAST, genuinely made me choke up a bit. That’s so amazing.

I was actually there when this happened. It happened in traverse city michigan while i was on vacation. They have a festival every year called “cherry festival” the rides have to be put up in 13 hours. That ride happens to be in front of a river. My best friend was on the ride but i didnt go because I’m afraid of heights. Luckily no one go hurt, but the manager got fired.

Guy with the Rubix cubes - probably the most impressive ability I've ever seen; to be able to focus on three complex, intricate tasks at the same time boggles the mind. Remembering the numbers, even if your memory is amazing, takes serious concentration, while focusing on the mind map of the rubix cube set-up must also need a serious focus of imagination of not one but THREE cubes, each needing to be solved individually, and on top of all that, seriously intricate finger/hand movements and adjustments to juggle. Amazing really.
