    I am from Guyana and in the 70 as a child we did not have radio or stereos, but neighbors did and the played these classics. Those are my first memory of many on this list. When I came to America early 80’s the night clubs played them regularly. My early romances are associated with these heart throbbing “ LOVERS ROCK” as they used to be called. Now I am married and 30 years later I sit with my wife listening but all my thoughts and memories are of the earliest times I heard them. Plenty of girlfriends also come into the picture….I will always treasure them

Grew up on it in the Caribbean until I left at 18 years old to come Canada 🇨🇦...I'am now 58 years old and this music still takes me back to exactly where I was as a teenager...Awesome tunes.
