• Lost at Sea : 25 Undiscovered Wrecks ...
This video shows my top 10 wrecks I would love to see found and explored. Music is by Hans Zimmer - Journey to the Line from The thin red line soundtrack. Number one is the wreck I'm most fascinated with. As many know, exploration of ship wrecks explains a lot of the mysteries that surrounds the sinking of these vessels. USS Gambier Bay should be in the top 5 in this video, the exploration of her would prove if Yamato actually played a part in its sinking.

Musahi has been found!!! No words can describe my excitement and joy!

Today, Paul Allen and his search team found the USS Indianapolis in the Philippine Sea, at a depth of more than 18,000ft.

The long awaited sequel to this video is finally live! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKODLG0sWoU

Battleship musashi was found in Sibuyan Sea,Province of Romblon,Philippines

The USS Lexington has been found!

I want the Akagi sunk at Midway found the most as shes probably my favourite ship not found yet
-
Great list. I agree completely about Musashi and Shinano being your top two (Bob Ballard said in one of his books years ago that he wanted to go looking for Shinano, but couldn't secure permission from the Japanese government). I would have put Lexington in the top five along with Indianapolis.

I've made two new videos! WW2: Steel Leviathans (Compilation of all big gun Warships) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmeRC5NHmdo Top 10 Ugly warships https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nXytZoCwAJw

Would be interesting to see what the Indianapolis and the Shinano look like today.

Very well made and professional. Just unfortunate that many Americans only see the world through their own narrow perspective. If you require that explained.....it just goes to illustrate that fact!

A well-done tribute to these fighting ships, the sailors who manned them, and their unmarked graves. If you decide to do another version of this video, it would be great if you could let your audience know why you chose these particular ships. For instance, I know that the USS Astoria (#6) is just one of a number of ships that went down in "Iron Bottom Sound" during the savage night engagements that took place off of Guadalcanal. How many of these have been found?

The music is haunting, as is the subject matter. This is possibly the best music/video match on youtube.

Great Video! The music is perfect you have a new Sub for sure!

Found the Lexington last year 2018 in the coral sea and today October 18 2019 they found the Japanese kaga (probably misspelt that) from midway

Just want to point out that some of your photos for the IJN Kongo are of the IJN Haruna, which was the last surviving Japanese battleship of WW2, and was sunk in shallow water in Kure. Understandable mistake, though, since they are both Kongo-class Fast Battleships. Great list! Fuso, and Musashi are both somewhere deep in my country's waters. I wish they could find the Musashi. I agree with its place at #1.

I have a documentary of Robert Ballard searching for the the USS Yorktown (CV-5) and the IJN Kaga. He found the Yorktown, but not the Japanese carrier. I haven't heard of him searching for the Hiryu, though. Definitely worth looking into!
-
Lexington was found, as well.
-
The USS ASTORIA has been found!!

Excellent choice of both subject matter and music. I especially like the music, not overly sentimental or depressing, yet still profound and haunting. I guess if I had one I would like to have found, it would be H.M.S. Glorious. There's something trully tragic about a ship that's lost with all hands.
