I’m an archaeologist and new to your channel. I must admit I was getting a little sad when you started painting/priming everything white. But then you started gilding and I was so happy! You’ve done an amazing job restoring this place and your attention to the historical details is just incredible!

What a spectacular transformation. You have set the bar high for anyone taking on a restoration. Carole and Adrian, you are both talented and dedicated to the project, and the results demonstrate that. Bravo!

This is probably the first time I've ever watched a restoration video that was 25 minutes long and worth every moment. The amount of detail and care that went into restoring even the smallest pieces....really just amazing. Bravo to you both! You're truly artists in the remaking of such a stunning work of art.

Wow, even though I have watched every video, I have forgotten so much. I remember when the renovations of the original floor began thinking that the amount of work Adrian put into them was insane, and then Carole began with the painting and plastering, and then, step two of the floors, almost making the installation of the plywood look easy!!! What a journey! I have no idea why your channel came up on my feed. You are the only chateau people I watch, but what a great day it was. I so look forward to your videos.
