All of them laughed at him except for Lori, and this turned out to be the most successful product to ever be on Shark Tank. Embarrassing.
  • @amarug
They are all giggling and laughing, but Lori has the laser-stare of a Hawk who just spotted a huge mouse. Hats off to her for seeing it's value.

You can see it in Lori’s eyes and face that she is thinking, “I am going to make so much money with this thing.”
  • @felipes6921
You can tell by Lori’s body and facial behaviour/reactions she knew it from the start. She kept quiet and was the last one to pitch and tried to secure the highest equity percentage she could get. She schooled all the other sharks on this one - respect

$400 million in sales since this pitch... so much respect for Lori and how quick she spotted a winner like this
  • @lizzyrose793
“I don’t see this working in retail” becomes one of the most successful shark tank pitch in history
  • @jandrestols2215
"You dont know who you're dealing with." That aged so good😂
  • @crellercorps
I love how none of them had any faith until Lori did, then they were all squabbling over it like children

The whole story behind Scrub Daddy is that this guy was a factory manager at a 3M plant for almost 18 years. The material that was used was produced by 3M for a product they never launched and stayed in the factory warehouse for years. 3M never had any interest to continue using this material so they never applied for a patent. Big win for this guy. One day his wife asked him to clean the porch furniture and he got the boxes with the material from the warehouse and went home. That is how he found out that the material softens when using hot water and hardens when using cold water. Pure coincidence.

The funniest thing was that everyone acted like it was trash then Lori gave a legitimate offer and everyone went crazy
  • @taeganh
Watching Lori's facial reactions throughout this pitch is gold, she knew exactly what this thing could be and that she was going to make it happen.

He wanted 100K for 10% equity, he ended up with 200K for 20%. He got what he wanted, plus a sweet infomercial.
  • @soonsims
The owner of Scrub Daddy is one of the few people who actually deserve to be rich. He's so humble.
  • @Brandon34300
This guy telling Kevin, “alright, you’re out!” After hearing his deal might just be the single greatest moment in shark tank history 😂
  • @misstweed1915
She deserved that! Simply due to the respect she gave him from the beginning. Good job Lori! Congrats Scrub Grandad!!! 🎉

I just bought a scrub daddy off the shelf of a supermarket way down here in Australia. It's the first time I've ever seen a shark tank product make it all the way out to my country, and that's some of the most telling proof that this business has truly gone global with its success.
  • @zeebruh9532
She’s made close to 60 million of that deal so far, absolutely nuts.
  • I love that he held onto his sponge the entire time like his life depended on it. Not once did he put it down. Not even when hugging lori. That’s dedication
  • @KaiGuyGD
Aaron was so smart for staying quiet and just wait for them to raise their prices 😂
