I love intermittent fasting and have been eating mostly OMAD since June 2020. Even though OMAD is my standard, I love being flexible in my schedule and will at times have variations to keep things interesting. I have lost weight, got into a healthy weight range for my height and maintained the weight loss for over 3 years! I love to share the flexibility and peace offered through intermittent fasting.

  • Jackie this couldn’t have come at a better time! I’ve been trying to add extra protein to my meals and it’s super hard for me. I add some nuts & seeds, or cottage cheese to my salad, I’ll have meat during dinner, and add protein powders to Greek yogurt or nut butter for dessert. I’ve been strength training more, so I definitely need protein. I just don’t think I can get 115 grams a day on OMAD like suggested for me, but I’m trying 😅

    Lucky for me I’m not salad eater nor much vegetable eater . I do love meat and fruits . I always break fast with meat. Occasionally rice and potatoes . I’m ice cream addict tho 😂

    Sorry but I don’t understand why you would think you need to add more protein to your diet. Most of us get far more than we need. There is protein in literally everything, even greens, and if you eat sufficient calories, you are almost certainly getting adequate amounts of protein. If you weren’t, you‘d probably be in hospital.
