Here I was, ready to reenact the intro with Richter and Dracula, and suddenly the script is completely different. It was so surreal.

Props for fighting richter like Dracula, that was pretty funny.

Honestly, he fights every boss like I would imagine Alucard does. Bravo. Nice show!

"Unforgivable... You don't even deserve to die." -Alucard Damn bro, that's harsh

the use of the mist form and gravity boots during the Galamoth boss fight blew my mind.

I certainly never tried to punch the fireballs out in the Slogra/Gaibon fight.

It's good to know that after so many years, Konami of America correctly translated the Symphony of the Night and allowed the narration in Japanese to understand how sad this game is and the final showdown between Alucard and Dracula has nothing heroic, just the lamentations of being the one misunderstood, he sold his soul in pursuit of revenge. Castlevania is much more than a struggle between light and darkness, it's about what man is, what power is, what eternity is and what we must choose and abdicate to move forward.
  • You know, that Succubus fight makes me appreciate the axe subweapon. I had taken it for granted, but it truly is useful. Airborne enemies are annoying, so having a weapon that can kill them easily is really useful.
  • "The only thing needed for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." - Alucard.

i really liked this guys' style of playing rather than the whole "wait and cheese the pattern" he actually went in and did things which made it alot more interesting to watch

Dracula's aide: "What's the weirdest creature that you want to guard the castle, M'lord!" Dracula: "Yes."

1:00 when you see the Japanese translation for the first time, and realize that it's exponentially more badass than anything in the US version. But whatever, I'll sit back and enjoy my "What is a man?!" meme anyday.

Olrox was just like "Dude... that was my best table!" Before fighting you.
  • Olrox: "Come on dude was that necessary? That table was pure mahogany"

One of the best games ever.

I just completed this game for the first time ever, and now seeing how this guy kicks their ass makes me wanna play again! It feels like I somehow did a lot of injustice to these battles.. This game truly is a gem, I can see myself playing this over and over again. Cheers! Edit: Also must say that Japanese version sounds much better, the US version hurt my ears!
