    Water work reduced! We live off grid for over a year. We learned a lot but it was a hard road especially fetching water. Our solution was to get an IBC tote basically a 400 gal water tank they can be found used for 100-200 dollars. Place it up on the hill and run a flexible pipe to the cabin. Then find a couple used 55 gal drums, fill them up in town and then fill your large tank for the drain just run a 4in perforated pipe 20 feet long in ground and plant some flowers on top of the drain field. I did mine in Colorado rockies just Bury everything and it will be freeze proof. About 8 hours of work and unlimited water.
