Weβre only at the midpoint of June but I think Jason already deserves to be named the DPWR Employee of the Month! ππ¨π¦

Monty is truly your gardening dog, as you told us he will be when you went to get him. He's such a lovely dog!
-
Arenβt you one lucky girl with a hubby who does the drip irrigation! π§βπΎπ©πΌβπΎ

Janey I just have to thank you so much for sharing about Vego garden beds with your audience! I work for a nonprofit that is starting a garden and I suggested reaching out to Vego to see if they might donate some beds after seeing them do the same for your daughters' school. And... they are going to donate 2 large beds to us!! What an awesome company! Thank you for choosing to work with companies that give back to communities. I'll definitely be buying a Vego bed very soon for my own home to support such a great business. <3

So sweet of you to WRENTyour wreath to the little wren.
-
The bird nest on the wreath is too precious, I just canβt β¦ππππ.

Hi Janie, In regards to temporary solutions to keeping Monty out of spaces, Box stores have temporary black fencing that sets up very easily. I use it as trellis for vines, to keep rabbits out of veg garden, around new plants until established. Itβs very versatile, easy to work with, stacks for storage, isnβt ugly, and there is a short version and taller version. It was worth the investment because Iβve found so many uses! Loving how your garden is coming along. Thanks for bringing us along π

Have you considered shifting the gazebo to the left to block your propane tank? Just an idea to flip itβ¦this would also allow people who pull up to see your right side, like your star jasmine wall and get a peek at your secret side garden entryβ¦I know there will be the dry creek bed that will lead to the gazebo, but perhaps it could wind over to the leftβ¦all just a thought.

Such a prodyctive day, Janey! Plants are looking great!
-
Great video - LOVE, LOVE the opening shot of the single flower. Sometimes 'less is best'. Gardens look great, hardworking Jason and Janey β€
-
Maybe Jason would be willing to do a little series on how to do drip irrigation from scratch, like from a water spigot, not from an in-ground system?

Team work makes the dream work! I love that you have a bird next with 5 eggs in it and a mama bird π¦. You have taken an sad country property and made it a haven for Life. And honestly that is part of planting a garden all around your home. Congratulations the nature loves the gardens too! I have had mocking birds and Cardinals this year.
-
Seeing the picture of the future design, makes me sad it will block how pretty you've got the house looking! The zig zag planter and hanging baskets and entryway look so beautiful!
-
You can always pinch half and leave half that way you get early blooms on some and early branching on others π
-
7:16 it is at this very moment I said to you βJaney, you need the βLaura editionβ 3β auger.β

Pro Tip (from a total amateur π ): stake the amaranth. It gets so tall and the plumes get so heavy that it flops. Everything is looking beautiful! πΏπ

I like your T-shirt Janey, β€ (Robbie)

Haha! I have never wanted to pinch my flowers back either for the same reason and this morning I just grabbed the pruners and went for it. I did it fast so I wouldn't change my mind. Thanks for the ant info!
