Joan used to live around the corner from me when I lived in Brooklyn. She was a frequent customer in my business. Very cool chick. I wish her well wherever she is.

The 90s wasn’t a decade. It was an emotion.

My mother who passed in 2001 of cancer , She loved this song! And now 22 years later I still listen to it and think Of my Mother ! RIP Angel Mom ❤

Probably nobody's going to read this but I have to say it... Three day before my dad passed away, we were on the car, he was taking me to church when this song came along on the radio. He started singing it. He smiled at me and told me everything was going to be okay. I miss him so much. Only God knows when it's our time to leave. 01/10/21 8:15 p.m.

I remember buying this cassette when I was 16. I'm 44 now and still listen to this song and a few others at least once a month.

This song brings back great memories from the 90’s, cruising around Newburgh and Evansville IN with my BFF, Jenny, in her Mazda RX7 blaring the song and singing at the top of our lungs. Rest in Heaven. Jenny Rae Mitchell. 1975-2022❤

Hearing this song for the first time, on the radio, was like a religious experience for me. I had just landed in Medford, Oregon, and was driving my rental car from the airport towards my hotel. I channel-surfed the radio for a few minutes until I found a likable radio station... within a few minutes, this song came on. I was choked up, tears in my eyes.... this song resonated in my spirit like an epiphany.... I forgot about going to the hotel and drove instead to the nearest record store I could find, and bought Joan's album on cassette. I still listen to the song regularly, 30 years later, and it still gives me goosebumps.

I used to listened this before going to school while my Papa braided my hair. I was at 4 or 5 grade of elementary school that time. Now, it's been 2 months my Papa had gone since he lost the battle through Covid on Friday, July 9th, 2021. This song brings so much memories of my childhood and it becomes one of souvenirs that I can treasure to linger my bond with my Papa. Thank you so much Joan for making this MASTERPIECE.
