50 calories Chocolate Cake Recipe ( Use an 8 INCH PAN) :

- 80 g room temp Skim Milk ( 1/3 cup )
- 180 g room temp Unsweetened Plain Yogurt ( 6.5 ounces)
- 60 g Oats ( 2 Sachets OR 1/2 cup + 1 tbsp)
- 100 g Truvia Sugar (1/2 cup) ( I used Truvia, if you use another type of sugar you may need less or more! )
- 1 room temp Egg
- 50 g Cocoa Powder ( 1/3 cup + 2 tbsp )
- 3/4 tsp Baking Soda
- Vanilla optional

Skinny Ganache ( optional But RECOMMENDED):

- 70 g Chocolate (2.5 ounces)
- 45 g Milk ( 3 tbsp )
- 20 g Yogurt ( 1 tbsp) I know it looks more than 1 tbsp in the video, but I didn't notice my camera wasn't filming and I had already added some milk to the yogurt. I decided to keep filming to not waste the ingredients.)
- Sweetner, add to your liking!

DO NOT REFRIGERATE THIS CAKE. Leave the cake at room temp. If you do choose to refrigerate it, please keep in mind the ganache will harden ( as ganache always hardens in the fridge) and you'll have to microwave the cake for 20 seconds to soften the ganache again before eating. Recipe makes 10 servings.

Enjoy!

Why does she sound like she's on the verge of laughing all the time? ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
  • I dont see why people complain. Even if you eat 3 pieces with the frosting, its less than 300 calories. Which is still less than a regular 1 piece of cake. If she took any more ingredients away the cake would have less calories, but also wouldnt be GOOD !!
  • the irony is 90 % of peoples who watching this will never try this and who are watching this while laying in the bed. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‡

her: itโ€™s 50 calories per slice me: still eats the whole cake

So, 500 cals for a whole chocolate cake? I'm sure I could fit that into my daily allowance somehow๐Ÿ˜„
  • Even if people managed to the whole cake, it's still 500-600 calories.. That's still a good deal for a whole chocolate cake. Assuming your TDEE is around 2000.

Kept telling myself not to bake during lockdown as Iโ€™d end up eating the whole cake. I now no longer need to feel guilty...

Tbh, 500 calories is still very impressive considering this is a whole cake.
  • Its really pleasant how it sounds like she just has a huge smile on her face throughout voicing this video๐Ÿ˜Š
  • To anyone in the comments thatโ€™s curious, itโ€™s 500 calories for the whole thing without the icing.

Tried this today, OMG, the best chocolate cake ever, very moist and fudgy and even low calories. Family loves it !!!! Hope to see more healthier dessert varieties on your channel ๐Ÿ˜
  • The moment I saw this I had to try it! I was extremely skeptical going into it thinking โ€œthis is definitely going to taste healthy and nothing like a chocolate cakeโ€ but I LOVED IT and my whole family did! Thank you so much for this delicious recipe definitely will be making it more often!

    I thought the title said โ€œONLY 50 INGREDIENTSโ€ and I was so confused! ๐Ÿ˜‚

I made it and it turned out absolutely perfect. Exactly same mouth feel and taste of a regular chocolate cake. If you put this cake in front of me without saying anything, I would have no idea it was only 50 calories. Absolutely smashing.

I made this yesterday and it is super delicious, the texture and richness of choco are even better than ordinary choco cake. It is still moist and gooey even after refrigerated for a night. As a person who is struggling to lose weight by dieting, this cake is like heaven! thank you so much for sharing the recipe!
