Lovely to have you back again in the workshop. I have the opposite problem. I have have to live in my workshop as the wife won't let me back in the house. LOL. All Best.

There are a lot of great channels on the Youtube, but Your works are on an entire different level compared to litterary anything else i seen here.
  • Great to see you back, my favourite loco is Evening Star, I tried to build a loco once but sadly I was lost and never had you tube to help...fab episodes thanks

Spray the oil on the drill so it runs down it rather than just on the work piece surface. otherwise the oil is doing next to now't. (Just stuff ya' pick up after 46 yr's lol) I can still cut metal, I haven't been an inspector all my life!! - just seems like it at times. I'm a "Time Served" Turner by trade.
  • What drives the choice of the 'coolant' for drilling? And do you have your drills sharpened from time-to-time, or buy replacements? I'm in love with sharp drills but sending them off for sharpening is expensive. 8:09 - I've said in on other threads; hope the guy who did the drawings for that bandsaw is getting royalties. Every home metal-worker in the world has one of those in the shop, and it does the JOB!

Turned out nice again. Do you see what I did there?
  • That was a bonus ... are you still using the Clarke blades in your vertical saw Craig ?

Don't waste money on fancy cutting oils - Supermarket Vegetable oil works just as well. Spray it from a used detergent spray bottle (where was Richard Thursday???) The fancy cutting oil people don't want you to know that!!!
