A quick introduction on reloading the extremely popular (and one of my all time favorite) calibers, the 30 carbine for the M1 Carbine and a few other guns and pistols chambered in this great little round. Note this is for entertainment only, reloading is an extremely dangerous practice if not done carefully and properly. Serious injury or even death can result so be sure you do research and ask questions BEFORE you start reloading!

I try and post a new vid every Friday, and if I don't, it's probably because I'm badly hurt to be honest with you, and if you don't hear from me in say three weeks, well for sure I'm a goner...month, tops....

Don't find me on facebook,
Can't see me on instantgamms
Tweeters are just in my speakers.
Knock knock tik tok

(I just don't do social media, I don't see that it does anything except make people hate each other, and I really don't feel like hating on anyone today.)

......TOMORROW however, well now that's drinkin' day, and by golly sometimes I get knee deep in a gallon of old mountain shine, and I'm tasting colours and whatnot, and soooometimes I get a bit ornery and might start picking fights with neighbor Dan's prize ridin bull, but even then, that's more a mutual admiration/despisement on the behalf of the bull and I )

That being from a past, totally unrelated incident where the bull was being a jackass, don't let him convince you otherwise. This account has not been hacked.

Of course if I was a hacker, I could just say 'heeey, I'm a hacker, don't bother reporting it to youtube, there's nothing to seeee here. You know, like how you or I could literally put on an florescent safety ornge vest, and literally start digging up a major intersection, and very likely nobody at all would report it?

I absolutely do not, never have, nor ever will condone any acts of destruction resulting from digging up an intersection, which may or may not have anything remotely to do with a long standing animosity between said perpetrator and the aforementioned bull.

Find me also on Bitchute, Rumble, Odysee, and soon many others!

It's gotta end sometime, and I gotta go get another rum.

I’ve been reloading 30 carbine for decades. I also cast my own bullets, gas check and powder coat them as well. Have never purchased factory ammo…
  • @ShaneSteward
That intro is killer. Wicked work. Really cool to see the reloading process
  • @jimmatson326
Good stuff! Love shooting my little .30 Carbine.
  • @sgtcote1
Great setup, I've been reloading 30 carbine for years now and hardly purchase factory made anymore. Especially at today's prices! Thanks for sharing..

Thank you for your content. I'm new to your channel and I appreciate everything about it - the humor, the unsaid messages, and the straightforward approach to teaching - no frills, no thrills (well, at least no hype!). I recently acquired a WWII .30 Carbine and have not even fired it yet because of some medical complications that reared its ugly head. Now, I'm ready to put my "new" tool into action. I have been wanting to begin reloading my primary ammo and you have given me a good track to follow. One question: what is the "Dried Soyboy Tears" that you use in your brass cleaning? Inquiring minds need to know.... 😊
  • @hanss9431
I did not know about the dried cowboy tears trick. I use to dry my cases with compressed elf farts though.
  • @hunterrogers5638
Could you give me a list of the equipment I need to get started? .30 carbine is my selection as well
  • All my cases are fired once and in the same carbine. I'll have to go measure them for length. I have some imr4198 on hand I use for reloading 45-70. I noticed that was on one of your charts. I will need some small rifle primers if any are in stock.

Hey i was wondering (new reloaded here) if i use Hornady reload data can i use a berrys bullet with it? Or does it have to be a Hornady bullet?
  • @seller559
    “Dried SoyBoy Tears” hahahahaha 👍👍👍
  • What is your setup. I am new to this. Looking to get started? Do you recommend buying the kit or by each thing separately?
  • Great vid, enjoying your channel! You need an auto annealer. It's the best way to dry your brass after wet tumble and helps your brass last longer. Also, dry tumble loaded rounds makes for great factory appearance. I just use corn cob bedding from pet store.
  • @PaulForgas-py5ns
WHY didn't you check for case length consistency before reloading?
  • i recently found reformed and trimmed brass at the range. .308. can u use this for .30 carbine ?
