Guys. LA galbi stands for “lateral cut” the thin sideways cut. Regular galbi used to be the “big bone” English cut ribs and whether it’s marinated depends on where you are. Im Korea the meats aren’t marinated well but they’re served with lots of dipping sauces. Locally, the meat is usually very well marinated. All of my ancestors are from Korea, Seoul and Cheju and meat was such a treat and expensive thing to have. But even their meat and fish chon was not seasoned because it was served with cho jang and Ko choojang sauces to dip. Im new to your channel and enjoying it very much!

I think this is your most enjoyable bloopers yet!!😂❤. Those inari looked amazing. I thought how perfect that dine in; grab n go sushi and tea were all in same location. Very cool! Nice weather. Cute watching Amanda running around chasing napkins. You guys are awesome! Keep up the great video content❤

Aloha, Amanda & Felix....Love this Korean Series. I have been to both Ireh and Debu. Both places are great to eat at. The food spread you ordered was fantastic. The mandoo is outstanding there and homemade. Debu is really unusual. I enjoyed the different toppings. There was not as much of a selection when I visited, so I need to go back and try the ones that I missed. Hats off to the creativity from these owners. Nice to have a different out of box experience. Yi Fang...Sometimes at night there are long lines at this location. Great Great Teas... One of my favorites. The episode was Kool because there were so many bloopers...Hahaha. And the quote of the day from Amanda at Yi Fang regarding the Strawberry tea..."I can never get a satisfying poke". Funny... Amanda....All kidding aside you're the best. Wow it was so windy if you had fly fans, they would blow away in the wind...LOL! Cheers!

OMG, I watched this on an empty stomach -- a definite rookie error I should know by now never to do when watching your videos! The Korean food looked so ono, and I was really fascinated by those "Korean inari" at Debu. I gotta check those out! Good to know about the parking too. Thanks as always for highlighting local eateries and taking us along with you. And for making us laugh with those outtakes....so funny! 🤣

Being Korean (south), I never tried food from my homeland until I was an adult, it all looks good
  • @sharonkim990

  • @dianalong2024
Hi you guys! I just finished watching this video, sooo great. Of course it's about the food, but really it's just so wonderfuly funny the way you two interact with each other! The outtakes are to cute! Thanks for making us smile 😂
  • @huamai8084
I think it's called "muddling": when you crush the lime or mint for a cocktail.
  • @meriahaiello
Omg!! The Debu roll!! 😍 literally everything!! The tea looks bomb too!! Awesome food tour!! ( muddling) the lime💞
  • @sonske
Your outtakes are so funny 🤣
  • Foodie Ohana! Even in the face of a Waikiki Hurricane, you brought us another tasty episode. We thank you and love you! 🤙🏽❤️🌴🌬️💨💨🍃😝
  • @JAM3Hall
OMG Egg Pancakes @ YiFang one of my favs, their drinks are good too! Glad to see them in a new location. That Ahi Debu Roll looked almost too pretty to eat, lol!
  • @lynettelee9296
Looks delicious! Watching from Seoul. Went to Ireh awhile ago on Keeaumoku Street.

Amanda, at 12:06....been there, done that at Foodland! I wanted the haupia-sweet potato dessert in the glass display case. Looked like there was glass in front! I asked the little Filipino lady behind the counter if she could get it for me, so she walks around to the front, reaches in, and hands me the dessert. LOL! She looked at me really funny! Anyway, love your trip to Koreamoku! I thought only we called it that!
