"Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so." ~ Douglas Adams
  • "Those who failed to learn from history will be at this rally!" Outstanding insight!
  • As someone who lives in Australia, this was the best thing that's happened all week

As an Aussie, can confirm our prime minister is all blunder from down under.

Eating a lot of onions and placing them around your house will help with social distancing... no one will come near you!

Shout-out to Jon Batist’s subtle piano sound effects 👌

Learning a lot through the comments about Australia's PM. Hang in there, Aussies. Can't possibly be worse than what we just had the last 4 years.
  • As an Australian, 'fella down-under', is the nicest thing our PM has been called for a long while. Also that sub was way better than the ones we've got.
  • It's OK. Australia's PM is very forgettable. We can't wait until we get to forget him ourselves.
  • "It's supposed to be used AS a douche, not BY a douche." Some punchlines just write themselves.
  • the onion thing is actually genius, you cannot have "new loss of smell" after having lost all smell >s

The most important thing to know about the rally in DC is that you definitely should NOT go to this rally...

My nights are always made better thanks to Stephen Colbert!

I absolutely love those subtle nods toward Jon when he nails the foley piano!
  • I love how he doesn’t use that idiots name at all. That’s very cleaver. Dudes smart and hilarious appreciate his humor and the crew that makes it all come together.

"the point he can go to hell" OK i can cheer for that one it's nice to see the right people being told this as opposed to the wrong people for once

At one time, to keep my sinuses clear, I ate raw garlic every day. It kept me from getting sick... no one could stand to be around me long enough to pass on germs. Especially if I had gas

I really love how nearly all the comments from my fellow Australians are about how we totally back Joe Biden calling our PM “that fella from Down Under”. A) it’s a lot more polite than what we call the bloke and B) we are so relieved that America now actually has a sane man of integrity as President that Joe could call us “anything but late for dinner” and we’d be fine with it.
