Great review. Thanks for uploading this. I have one question and that's about the upgrade-ability of the machine; if I wanted to upgrade the footprint, so I can CNC larger objects, would that be possible? I am not sure if they are using standard aluminium extrusion frames.

Papa, could you please tell us if we went and bought one of these how much would it be and the other question is is how would you compare this to the X tool in this caliber of machine? I’m sort of got my mind made up for X tool, but I’m waiting to see the difference. How’s that brand new it is got a lot to learn.

Hi 👋, Paw Paw 🐾, very interesting, great review, I have never used a CNC , it looks very well made, I have just been on there website, to see prices and delivery, I am thinking of staying a artisan business in France, Are used to have a very large business back in the UK that working by myself, specialist Joiner cabinet maker, I still have some of my kit, but the area I’ve got at the moment needs a new concrete floor approximately 6 m x 6 m, very very small compared what I had back in the UK., 8 m x 35 m, + . I’m retired and in my 70s, but I need something to do, thank you for sharing your skills and your advice. I look forward to the next part of your project., Phil from the moulin France.

I need help! I purchased the Fox Alien CL-6560 which has the same 400W spindle. I have only been able to use 1/8 end mills or v-bits in the machine. Every time I try to use a 1/4" end mill, I can never get the speed, feed, and other parameters dialed in to get a decent cut. In watching this video, is it possible that there are loose bolts? Or is the spindle under powered to handle 1/4" end mills? Or is the answer, bite the bullet and purchase a more powerful trim router (dewalt or makita 1.25 HP). If the answer is more power, which trim router do you all prefer? Lastly, if you can get a 2 flute down cut 1/4" end mill to work with the 400W spindle, what are speed, feed, pass depth, step over, spindle speed, and plunge rate? Thank you so much!

Been trying to decide between this cnc and the Genmitsu proverxl 6050. Do you have any experience with Genmitsu? And how would you rank Fox Alien for strength, customer service and warranty? Thanks pawpaw

At last the XE has enough power to compete even with the Sainsmart 4030v2. Really impressed at the spec. This is even better than the entry level Vasto!! Cant wait to see what it can do!
