The feeling when someone manages to talk about everything my teacher has been struggling for 2 weeks to get it into us in less than 10 minutes...
  • Notes: -Blood is red not blue -Blood maintains pH and temp -Transports hormones nutrients gasses -Made of plasma(liquid), cellular components (red, white blood cells & platelets) -arteries carry blood away from the heart -veins carry blood to the heart -capillaries deliver oxygen -heart: •r deoxygenated blood L oxygenated blood •atrium thin walls •ventricles thick •needs it's own blood supply •beats 100,000+ times daily •anatomic differences change blood pathway flow meaning oxygen rich/poor blood can be mixed causing complications
  • @karii1194
I love how people keep watching even though school has barely started and they're probably not assigned to us. You're so entertaining:D
  • Omg this is so weird I am literally taking Anatomy 2 right now and I was just reading all about the heart today. I was just thinking today I wish amoeba sisters would upload a video on the heart and YOU DID. You have no idea how happy I am right now. I got an A in biology because of you ❤️❤️❤️
  • @tanaybhomia2784
You know what this is the best biology channel on youtube universally
  • @dragonblade2375
This is the only 'pamphlet' I would never throw away after getting it.
  • I’ve been having a tough time understanding how the blood moves through the heart but you explained it perfectly, thank you so much!
  • @punusername3445
I suggested this channel to my biology teacher, now he always use of this drawings in his slideshows
  • @MAGGIET-ll4ue
These drawings are incredible! Petunia you’re a genius! 4th comment, I suppose.
  • @WDCallahan
Also the A looks like it points up like an arrow and V points down.
  • @CryptoKing434
This is the most underrated YouTube channel ever.. You guys deserve an Oscar Award for the Best Biology YouTube channel ever😩😩
  • @mastikitrain2844
Great video, mam. I'm in 10th grade (India) and we've got this chapter- "Life Processes" in Bio and Transportation (in humans and plants) is a major part of the chapter. And this video was such an amazing summarised version of this topic- Transportation in Humans.
  • I was absolutely PUMPED when I saw your new video! Also, the heart has two of my favorite words: aorta and ventricle!
  • @Jeff-jz6hu
Why are there 5 dislikes when this is so educative? It took Petunia hard work and Pinky too
  • I always recommend this channel to my students, is really helpful for them. Thanks so much for every job that you do.
