Sorry mate I have been impressioning locks for 35 years and have used a good set of grips if you try vice grip straight jaw they work a treat, I have big hands so that small handle wouldn't be so comfortable for me. I would love to try the Framon. It does look nice, but with a premium price. At the same time good video and very informative 👌 👍

I used it and got second place last year, (or rather, first in the B division) so it can work in competition too. Sort of. If I can do it, anyone can. Probably.

This is a simplistic and great portable impressioning handle. Thanks for this review, well done on the impressioning of the key, cheers
  • @Rxpert83
Nice review! I’ll be giving this a go tomorrow on a keyless assa 700 I picked up

Simple but effective. Just wondering if the back of the handle would be a little more comfortable dome shaped (take off the edges). Great review 🙂👍 as always.

Expensive for what it is. Making one of those would be a great basic engineering project for learning fitting skills.

Nice bit of kit Ash mate great video 👍😎🇬🇧👊😊

oh that's brilliant, I wanted to get into impressioning but was lacking that last thing. I thought I could do with some self-locking adjustable pliers, but can't.
  • @Gazz_R
It's a bit on the small side for me. I make mine from 1" aluminium, it's very comfy size to use. Great review as always Ash and thanks for sharing. Take care and have fun.

I wonder if you could add something out front to prevent splay
  • Could you also use blue machinists layout fluid to help indicate where to file?
  • Do you think you could do a video on a lock that you haven't been able to pick? Or one that was a real challenge for you?
  • Yeah, sorry dude. Love you and all, but vice grip is just as good. Neat idea though
