Males are falling behind women, academically. Millions of boys are losing social skills while turning to social media apps and influencers. NBC News' Stephanie Ruhle moderates a discussion with Maryland Gov. Wes Moore, Richard Reeves and Michael Strautmanis on how to curb male loneliness and establish healthy gender norms. NBCUniversal News Group is the media partner of Aspen Ideas Festival.

  • Teach them history and they'll think twice about having kids of their own.
  • @TheLoneComic
I find it hypocritical to discuss male loneliness when denial of affection is one of legacy oral tradition skillsets and one of the many primary manipulation tools of the overwhelmingly hidden overpopulated sub-social toxic feminine culture tradition toolbox.

Men GET YOUR PASSPORTS! Women in the West are Unsalvageable. GODSPEED GENTS!
  • @fliptop157
The panel should have been composed of a mix of single and married persons of different ages for a full spectrum discussion.
  • @maxpayne232
So we're here to talk about boys and men.... ... and all I will talk about is race.
  • I would have preferred 3 white men on the panel just leave race out of it. I am not raising my black son to identify his self as black over being a man first. Being black is number 10 out 10 things.
  • 18:20 we need you to support women. All we are to them is tools? Support the economy, the jobs, support and heal women? We are not allowed to ask for anything or be who we want to be?
  • @celinebally
Thank you. This discussion should be repeated nationwide and world wide
  • @ow5045
All you have to do is give them passports, y'all overcomplicating this situation.
  • @fliptop157
"Problem of boys with boys and we treat like malfunctioning girls", what are you talking about?
  • @fliptop157
You want an outcry for not enough men choosing to be a teacher, instead of acknowledging men preferring different careers? Are you a teacher?
  • I think the problem is bullying in many dimensions, class warfare, but alpha males learn or taught to "punk" or bully/dominate younger or weaker males. Same with good looks, or a large family and lots of brothers.
  • The fact that CNBC is hosting a panel discussion about the development of young boys tells you how bad it is. The framework should be adjusted to include the risks men assume in society and the agency/resources of men are NOT supposed to benefit women.
  • @fliptop157
Didn't take long..... first panelist, guys who are MGTOW are not men.
  • Great talk. Respect to Stephanie for hosting this. Richard Reeves talks about these issues in an incredibly constructive and reassuring way. More from him, please.
  • I heard allowing them in women's locker rooms was a trend 😎🥃
  • @StoicContrarian
Bring Jordan Peterson and Andrew Tate on the panel; then this would have been very substantive m.
  • @tkc8810
The fact that she had to tell the dudes on the side that the point is to not hurt anybodys feelings is so embarassing. People with big fragile egos and snowflakes should read the book anti fragile.
  • @jvera6403
The moderator seems uncomfortable ( not relaxed and body language like a twisted pretzel). Glad the one panelist mentioned "MGTOW" (MEN GOING THEIR OWN WAY) Movement. --One might conclude that it was/is counterproductive, after all.
  • @fliptop157
@18:00, thanks for letting men know you're only going to us them for the benefit of society and women.
