I still can't believe 30 years later that Death in this video was one of the three members of Bananarama
  • That eye roll from the one portraying personified Death near the end. Pure "Fine. He's yours for now. He'll be mine in the end anyway. Everyone is." right there. Beautiful.
  • This song is a masterpiece. It's been already a long time on my play list. One of the best songs of the 90's,without any doubt!!!
  • @esclad
FUN FACT: This song still holds the UK record for "Longest no.1 by a girl group" (8 weeks) ... even The Spice Girls couldn't do that years later. Marcella's voice is heaven. Their album Hormonally Yours, which this song is from, is truly amazing.

I think the funny thing is Siobhàn's performance as an almost angel of death is heavily influenced by how much she drank, waiting for her scenes to be filmed
  • @JenX_1973
Siobhan is the woman with the long hair, that comes in near the end of the song. She is playing the role of "Death." She is actually a member of the pop group Bananarama, from the 80s/90s. She is married to Dave Stewart from The Eurythmics.

“Still a lot of song left, maybe some surprises” man had no clue what kind of surprise he was in for 😂😂😂 I remember the first time I heard this back in the 90s and being like WHAT JUST HAPPENED
  • @TJdirect
Siobhan was playing the angel of death and they were fighting over his soul… Love Siobhan‘s facial expressions!
  • My Mrs played this to me while I was in intensive care after a brain hemorrhage - she said I was reacting to the music in my coma - the power of music is amazing.
  • @RedRosaleen
I like how Siobhan was being all extra in her scenes but turns out she was drunk she they did her scenes and that make it even better
  • @Skotty1899
Yes! A masterpiece. I've been listening to it continuously since 1992. Thanks for resurrecting it from oblivion.
  • @Fhionnan
Love how young folks appreciating this special song from my youth!
  • @randyg.1027
"I think I popped my cherry, guys." - I fell out of my chair, into the floor! LMFAO!!! Your reaction is both hilarious, AND priceless. Thinking back to my first time hearing/seeing the video, I think my jaw dropped as well. Definitely one of my all-time favorites! ❤🔥
  • @bduff007
The drop gets ‘em every time
  • @Nabhan82
Finally a reaction to this MASTERPIECE. One of my ALL time favorite songs. I never get tired of it, and the music video is just amazing.
  • Jesus, I remember my best friend & I spending hours getting dressed up like these two & playing out this video when this song dropped. We were soooo obsessed, and it's still brilliant. Fucking iconic!
  • @isiteckaslike
The first woman is caring for her lover who's on a life support machine, hence her pleading "stay with me". The cruel, crazy, manically laughing woman who then appears represents death coming to take the man away. The two women fight over the man, until finally, and miraculously, he returns to consciousness. Death realises she has been deprived of a victim this time, and so just shrugs it off and retreats. She knows that all mortals have their time, so for her it's just a case of waiting.
  • @LordTelperion
I just love lady Death coming in for the kill and when she looses she just rolls her eyes like “meh, I’ll get ya next time”. ;)
  • God I’m so lucky I was born in the 80s and I experienced such classics when they were released. I wonder how teens will react one day to the crap that’s on charts today. Great reaction!
