Hi there!
In this video I will explain a simple methods to making somewhat realistic afterburners in SimplePlanes. Ofcourse, there are multipole ways in which you can create an afterburner, but this is my prefered (fast) method.

Small tip. Don’t completely remove the engine flame/exhaust from the J15. Real jet aircraft often have a visible glow if you look down their nozzles even without afterburner. Just reduce the length of this glow and increase it’s height and width to match the inside of your nozzle. I usually make it that the glow starts around 40-60% depending on the type of plane I make - @mustang51

I see, so not many new SP players realize that BFE150 actually has afterburner implemented by devs. It may not be best implementation, but hell, they refusing implementing properly shaped wings for who knows how many years. Nice channel, btw, keep up good work. ^^

One quick note: Throttle > 0.96 means it will activate once over 96% throttle, not 95%.
