One Final look to Las Vegas iconic Hotel the Tropicana. As you all know, it will be close soon and will be replace by the new Baseball Field. Tropicana is one of the oldest hotel in Vegas and a staple along the Strip and it’s sad to see it go. Comment below if you have stayed here. I got one souvenir from this hotel, 2 casino playing cards. I will surely keep it now.

Never stayed at the Trop before, and guess I never will. As if the strip doesn't have enough traffic, doesn't seem like adding a baseball stadium there was the best idea. Enjoyed the tour. 🍻🍻

It must be 15 years since I last stayed there (in the tower in the back). The place looks about the same. Who needs more baseball stadiums.

We did a walk thru last Thurs. Looks pretty much the same, closing in April 2024. They will be open for the Super Bowl weekend and rooms start at $500/ Fri nite, $750/Sat nite and $1000 for Sun nite. I doubt there will be many open rooms left for that weekend.

Sad to hear this. Lots of good memories

In 1988 I turned 21 and went to vegas 😊 First place I stayed was Tropicana. I'm sad to see it go. I don't understand why they just can't put the field somewhere else 😢

Nice to see one last time . Stayed there in November 2021 . Had a time share thing where they paid for room , we got freebies $150.00 in visa gift cards and used those for an upgrade to tower suites . One of the coolest hacks we ever did . Suite was cool , slots paid okay , just situated nicely on the strip . Will miss this iconic place , but look forward to future

Stayed there with a group of friends in the late 90s. We had a BLAST there as it was central & you could do it on a college student's budget w/o breaking the bank. I loved the swim up blackjack and pool area, it felt beautiful & carefree. It left a lasting impression of Vegas that I love to this day. Sad to know that it will be replaced by a corporate, over priced baseball stadium that no one wants in the middle of the iconic strip.

Appropriate song to be playing as you enter.

Definitely iconic, but I think it has a little more time. I understand the closing won't happen until late this year. Plus, after the demo/rebranding, a new hotel will be put in its place called Ballys.

It’s truly happening I thought it was just bs and rumors!! 😓💔
