It has been 1 year since the start of the wildfires in West Maui that left 100 people dead or missing and destroyed thousands of structures.

There has been much progress in the year since the fires, and yet a lot remains to be done, according to community leaders who have witnessed the transformation in West Maui.

    It's gonna be a long road for them. 6 years later my home town Paradise ,CA is barely coming back. It's rather sad and depressing how long its taking.

    Hawaii should vote Republican in protest this November. I know that they are usually down the line Democrat voters, but they have been taken for granted as loyal, automatic D voters and treated horribly.
