  • I remember once my sister "parented" someone elses kid, because their parent wasn't doing anything to stop them from being obnoxious (and they were well within the age where they would know better, etc). When the lady said "don't parent my kid!!!" and my sister goes "I wouldn't have to, if you did"
  • That's awesome that you spoke to that boy who was going to tag the rock! Way to speak up! Years ago I stopped a women with children, who ate lunch at the park in Reno Then left all there McDonald's Bags and drinks. She got in the car and I knocked on the window of her car and told her nicely, she needed to clean up the mess .She went back and cleaned it up!
  • @thebatt6183
you were totally right saying that to that mom
  • I truly love how you are so passionate about keeping the world clean and litter free. My town organizes a community clean up and groups will go around and pick up trash. It really irritates me they do all that work and the non caring people toss bottles and cans all over. Ughhhh 🤬
  • @AnMarie711
    1. That mom doesn't care and probably does not practice the pack it in and pack it out. 2. Thank you for saying something; it cheered me up. It's so frustrating that the decreased level of mental capacity is the reason places get shut down. Take care.

As a Mom of many kids thank you for sharing that wisdom with that mom and her kid! We travel out west a couple times a year and rv and I am always anxious about our kids doing something that affects others time outdoors and nature… for instance “crack the crust” which is a huge Moab saying, we learned and repeat 😂 Moab is one of our favorite places ( love it so much broke my ankle there lol 😂) but honestly thank you for helping… you obviously know so very much how about the areas you stay in and around and while one of the reasons myself , hubby and my kids enjoy your content! So sorry about that mama’s attitude, it’s one thing to offer advice when someone’s just mad at people having kids there which honestly, I thankfully haven’t experienced lol …it’s quite another when someone is willing to educate and support you and your kid by teaching and sharing why and how to respect outdoor spaces. Rant over lol! Have a blessed day!
  • Thank you for saying something to that kid ! It is so depressing to see what was once a beautiful natural area and then see it marked and disgraced by graffiti. I personally do not want to see that . Hopefully this kid learned something. Keep up the great videos with you and the boys - they make my day ❤
  • As a mom, thank you for speaking up. I believe it takes a village to raise a child, and sometimes, I miss things. I would want someone to speak up so my kid learns to do better. And thanks for sharing your journey.
  • You were so right to say something to the child and you did it calmly and politely, that mom was out of line to confront you, hopefully the child will remember the lesson, so sorry you had to deal with a rude obtuse person
  • Leave No Trace is so important! As someone who was so incredibly privileged to grow up in SE Alaska, I can say that it really does make a difference! Education is key! Thank you for spreading the message and reminding all of us to do the same!
  • At one place in the UP, somebody left their pack and a mess of water bottles and snack wrappers. I checked the area for who it might have belonged to, and nobody was around. I picked up the mess and also took the pack as my pay for having to clean things up. It gave me plenty of water for the trip, sunscreen, bug spray, and snacks. It also had a bunch of the bullfrog game cartridges in it that one of my coworkers kids could use. The pack has now become my vehicle bug out survival kit for if I have to hoof it for help. I would have told that kid, "If you carve your name in that rock, I'm going to carve my name on you!" Yeah, I'm dark like that, but it does get the point across!
  • @deltay71
Good for you for calling out that kid and his parent. That is awful that she would allow that.
  • @SeekerKC
$8.00 (& a free water tank fill) after seven days w/no shower? I would have paid $20.00! Speaking of that parent's attitude, I ran into a similar situation down at the mall in D.C. where there were a few kids were throwing rocks at a squirrel. I waited for a few heartbeats to see if any of the nearby adults were going to say something, but they didn't. I was pretty far away so I admit that my shout of "HEY! DON'T DO THAT!" was a tad on the loud side, but the adults looked at me like I was the one doing something inappropriate. The kids stopped, tho, so goal achieved!
  • @SandalSanders
I love so much that you said something to the kid about the rock. Thank you for being you and being brave enough to speak up! I’m always so grateful for every single episode. 💜
  • @EdMcCraeMusic
Not writing on things that you do not own should NOT be a new or foreign concept! Good job stepping in, and I'm glad that things did not escalate further. 🤦‍♂
  • @Vanmattdamn
Sprinters are pretty notorious for the power steering lower hose disconnecting because it’s extremely tight from the factory. You should be able to find a YouTube on how to check it and fix it.

A few years ago, I found out I was able to move but only had 14 days to pack, find a house, reserve a truck. I drove over 5,000 miles in 7 days. The two days I didn't drive, I loaded and unloaded a 26-foot Ryder Truck. I was exhausted after that week, but had to unpack the boxes for 2 weeks after that.
  • @rebeccah.4983
I wore my Happy Camper shirt today for my cat Lily's vet appointment for good luck! We were rewarded by seeing 2 cute small dogs and the office's big laidback orange cat, Sunny napping in his bed on the reception desk! Love how Camper takes over the driver's seat when you aren't driving!
  • Seeing how great Camper and Rodney get along makes me happy for all three of you. Look forward to seeing you all each week. God bless, and safe travels.
