Ingredients required:
1) Peruk Kangsu:
Peruk / Pennywort/ Brahmi, 250 g
Dry white peas ( soaked overnight), 200g

Yongchak ( to be chopped up into medium bite size pieces), 2

Local herbs for garnishing:
Spring onions, Mayangton/ lemon basil, Fish mint/ Tuningkhok Mara , U morok/ king chilli 🌶️ (1/2 medium )

2) Paan Hawaijar Thongba
Paan/ Arbi/ Taro roots, 500 g
Hawaijar/ fermented soyabeans , 250 g
Dill, 100 g

Coriander leaves , 1 cup
Maroi napakpi/ Hooker chives, 1/2 cup
Onion , 1/2 ( medium )

Maroi napakpi mara / hooker chives roots, 1 tbsp
Garlic, 7/8 cloves
Ginger 🫚 , 1/2 inch
Fresh Turmeric , 1/2 inch
Green chillies , 8/9 pc
King chilli 🌶️ , 1/2 pc
Mustard oil, 1/2 cup
Water, as per requirement
Salt, as per taste
Dry prawns, 1/2 cup
Dry rohu fish , 1 ( small)

Spices & condiments :
Bay leaves , 1
Whole jeera/ cumin seeds , 1/2 tsp
Whole coriander seeds, 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder, 1 tsp
Cumin/ jeera powder, 1 tsp
Black pepper / kali mirch powder , 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida / Hing, a pinch 🤏
