    You actually need to do your linework fast and with confident lines. This helps your drawings look fluid. Also you shouldnt just start sketching the outline. Using base shapes helps you get proportions better and it helps you a lot when drawing from memory.

  • XTRA TIP: for more complicated drawings ( Actual people, anime characters, even buildings) draw basic shapes as if the were 3D shaped using internal guidelines!

  • Another tip: Overlap your curved lines and make it obvious to make non-arists think you good at art lmao

    Sometimes I do these things on purpose and it makes it look much Gooder and it really does work.

    Another line tip: NEVER make all ur lines the same thickness, for overlapping lines make them thicker and for little details (like veins on a hand or textures) make them thinner
